Whit`s End in Decatur

I ordered Par an Garlic wings. The fried an toast were soaked with melted better. They were so soaked it was not fit to eat. I ask waitress if that was how it was suppose to b. She said no! She brought me a new piece of toasted bread an fries. But I had already lost me appetite.

Ordered sunday the 2nd online and went to pick it up to see they are closed due to illness. Went on my debit card app and seen I was still charged. I’ve called their number and it says voicemail is full. I would like a refund!

Staff is friendly and helpful having an issue with the cooks at the present time will get back to you its usual better stuff

Always have loved this place! For a home cooked style meal, there are few places in town that deliver like Whits End does. The environment is cozy, but has plenty of room for larger groups. Staff has always been great as well!

Pretty good friend chicken dinner.

They have a burger in 2 grilled cheese sandwiches called the big all burger that is amazing!

Sux. Never again. Portions are a laugh. I just learned why they only pay minimum wage. Beware if you get take out double check your order.

The kitchen was about to close but they served us anyway. The food was great, wattress way good and the price was very economical. We had a good time and good food for a good price, it was nice.

The prices aren't great but not terrible either, maybe average to slightly above average. The food is decent, service is friendly. They have an area in the back that is good for groups to meet, less noisy. The buffet is a pretty good deal when they have it. Atmosphere is somewhere between cozy family restaurant and relaxed dive bar. I like the way the booths are raised with dividers, though it could be an accessibility issue for some, but there are plenty of regular tables at floor level.

Wonderful place to go get a bite to eat. The staff was wonderful! Would recommend this place to anyone that would like a home cook meal, good environment, very clean, and very respectful

The fried chicken at the buffet was some of the best fried chicken I have had.

I love the jumbo tenderloin sandwich with fries and a Coke for 4.99! Delicious. Also, taco bar on Thursday can't be beat. The service is always friendly,too!

Walleye Basket was yummy, with crunchy fries were excellent, slaw yuck, some of the worst slaw I have ever had. Take slaw off of menu or make it homemade. BURGERS are Hearty, Chili Cheese fries really good!! They might try a vinegar based slaw made fresh!!

Not many places open to serve full course meals on 4th of July so with a somewhat full house of patrons and busy- short staffed- I wish to thank them for their congenial effervescent service closing at 8 pm but still trying to finish serving those customers in place at 8:45 pm------ it is a mark of excellence and grace under fire. Thank you.

Always love the food and very good people. Today, I didnt care for the pizza but my wife and daughter enjoyed it. Great fried chicken. AND REAL.CLAM STRIPS!!!

Walley was great but they have a large selection menu and the waitresses will remember your drink order when walk in the door so they have customers going regularly

October 27th 2019 I came in and ordered a $9.99 pizza five toppings and two orders of 6 cheese sticks.Opened up everything when we got home and we didn't get cheese sticks we got breadsticks with cheese on them!The order was under the name of Adam.Number is 853-2158

Decent bar food, service was good though slow. Signs did say they were looking for cooks and servers, so that should be expected right now I suppose. The portions were generous and servers were polite and attentive. 2 teens in the party didn't leave hungry, so that was a plus.

Waitress let a lot to be desired! Took too long to get over cooked food. Had to ask for salad to get it! until today always had a good experience and food. ☹

My girlfriend likes the gizzards. Frankly I'm not fond of the place. I've not found anything that I felt was worth the calories. The price is cheap so I tag along with her. Heaven knows she tags along with me when I go places she's not fond of.

I generally call in my order. Marty in the kitchen definitely takes care of me and makes sure I have everything I need before he hands it out the window. My guys seem to like their food :)

I enjoy their food but when picked up today I noticed no one wearing gloves. Due to Covid they should have been wearing the gloves when preparing the meals.

We ordered a large order today for our office and everything was excellent!!!

Order was no right but I did not take it back did not get potatoes and gravy

Went for dinner 3 of us 2 of us ordered wings and a order of fried mushrooms we had to wait 30 min.to get the waitress to take our order after more than another 30 min. We left. There was only one other couple when we arrived after over an hour there were several tables everyone had been served there meals. We will not be eating there again!

Food is amazing! Marti and Eugene are my 2 favorites

Good food, good service, nice atmosphere.

Love this place. Great food, great service, great prices. Nice mom and pop feel but I don't know the details. I do know the gentleman who I believe was actually a bartender was awesome attentive to us at our table. I really can't say if there is many places like this around Decatur still. I frequent here often now for this reason. 10/10 would recommend again.
